Used books for sale at library to help Friends group

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will sponsor a used book sale from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., March 7 and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., March 8 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road.

Thousands of books will be available, along with craft booklets, magazines and VHS tapes.

Children's books cost 35 cents; paperbacks are 50 cents and hardbacks are sold for only $1.

Book donations are accepted throughout the year, and used books are on sale daily at both the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, and the Newbury Park Branch Library.
