Library takes registration for computer classes

The Thousand Oaks Library is offering free computer classes through March 18 at the Grant Brimhall Library Technology Training Room, 1401 E. Janss Road.

Due to limitations in class size, registration is required. To register, call (805) 449-2660, ext. 204. •Internet for Spanish Speakers will take place 10 a.m. Sat., Feb. 23. •Library 101, including a tour of the library and instruction on using the library's online catalog, will be from 4 to 5:45 p.m. Tues., Feb. 26 and Tues., March 18. •Google It, a class on how to use aspects of Google such as calculator, dictionary and translator, will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., March 4. •How Do I Find It on the Web: Internet Searching, will be from 7 to 8:45 p.m., Mon., March 17.
