Seminars Coming on Financial Planning For College

National College Planners will host free workshops on getting thousands of dollars for a child's college education.

The seminars will be from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Wed., Feb. 20, Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road; 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Thur., Feb. 21, Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road; and 10:30 a.m. to noon Sat., Feb. 23, Newbury Park Library, 2331 Borchard Road.

Topics include how to triple eligibility for aid, finding scholarships and grants, avoiding scams, paying for college with no money out of pocket, picking the colleges that will give the most amount of money and insider secrets.
