Newbury Park

A male, 19, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder at 10:56 p.m. Jan. 10 at the intersection of Potrero Road and Wendy Drive. The suspect was arrested in Oxnard on Jan. 25.

A male, 18, was arrested on a charge of bringing a switchblade knife to Conejo Valley High School at 11 a.m. Jan. 25.

A computer valued at $1,300 was stolen from a locked classroom at Newbury Park High School on Jan. 23 or 24.

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 28, at 2:19 a.m. Jan. 24 north of the Lynn Road exit driving northbound on the 101 Freeway (suspended license); and a male, 23, at 7:40 p.m. Jan 27 at Borchard and Newbury roads.

A male, 20, was arrested for allegedly slapping and pushing someone at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 100 block of Dorena Drive.

A female, 31, was arrested for allegedly battering her spouse at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 25 in the first block of S. Wendy Drive.

On suspicion of entering someone's garage with a flashlight and wire cutters, a male, 18, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. Jan. 29 in the 800 block of San Simeon Drive.

Shoplifting occurred at Target on Teller Road between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Jan. 16.

Someone's wallet was stolen from a desk at Amgen on Jan. 23 or 24.

Rent money was stolen Jan. 17 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 19, allegedly vandalized property at 10:33 a.m. Jan. 28 at the deadend of Greenmeadow Avenue in Thousand Oaks. The suspect was cited and released for the crime in the 200 block of Beech Road at 5:57 p.m. later that day.

Construction equipment was stolen between Jan. 18 and 21 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

Gang graffiti was found on property Jan. 23 or 24 in the 1600 block of Glenbrock Lane.

Merchandise was stolen from Kohl's on Newbury Road around 3:55 p.m. Jan. 30.

A male, 25, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 12:10 p.m. Jan. 24 in the construction area behind Home Depot and Staples. The suspect was also allegedly observed trying to steal scrap metal.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On the morning of Jan. 25 in the 400 block of Reino Road (window broken); between 11:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 900 block of Broadbeck Lane (window broken and laptop computer and accessories stolen from rear seat); on Jan. 27 or 28 at Fallbrook Avenue and Kimber Drive (unlocked); on Jan. 29 or 30 in the 3900 block of Crown Haven Court (unlocked); and on Jan. 29 or 30 in the 3800 block of Mayfield Street;

A male, 35, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse at 4 p.m. Jan. 27 in the 700 block of Benson Way.

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 22, at 3:42 a.m. Jan. 25 on W. Hillcrest Drive just west of Lynn Road; a male, 23, at 11:39 p.m. Jan. 25 on Westlake Boulevard just over the 101 Freeway; and a female, 64, at 9:04 p.m. Jan. 27 at Moorpark Road and Avenida de Los Arboles (allegedly driving on the wrong side of divided roadway).

For allegedly battering his exgirlfriend and mother of his children, a male, 30, was arrested in the first block of Erbes Road at 1:39 a.m. Jan. 27.

A male, 38, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 28 in the first block of Lucero Street.

Property was stolen from the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road Jan. 27 or 28.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Jan. 23 or 24 in the 2600 block of Autumn Ridge Drive (unlocked); between Jan. 10 and 17 in the 800 block of St. Charles Drive (stereo stolen); between 7:30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 25 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (window broken); on Jan. 24 or 25 in the 1400 block of Calle Fidelidad; on Jan. 24 or 25 in the 1700 block of Woodside Drive (unlocked); on Jan. 25 around 1:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Glenoaks Road (rear wing window smashed and computer bag stolen); on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 3200 block of Foothill Drive; on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 500 block of W. Gainsborough Road (passenger window broken); on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 200 block of Green Heath Place (unlocked); between 4:15 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road (right front door window broken); on Jan. 27 or 28 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road; on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road; and around 3:20 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 200 block of Gazania Court (window broken); on morning of Jan. 24 in the 3300 block of Crossland Street.

A vehicle was vandalized when an unknown suspect attempted to steal property on Jan. 24 or 25 in the 2800 block of White Ridge Place.

The convertible top of a car was slashed on Jan. 23 or 24 in the 2100 block of Rustic Park Court.

A car was apparently intentionally scratched with a sharp object on the night of Jan. 30 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road.

Someone's tire was punctured on the late night of Jan. 26 in the 600 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.

A marking device was used to cause more than $400 in damage on Jan. 28 or 29 in the 500 block of Pensfield Place.

Shoplifting occurred at a Macy's between 4 and 4:40 p.m. Jan. 5.

A suspect attempted to steal items from a Vons on N. Moorpark Road around 10:10 a.m. Jan. 25.

Two guitars were stolen from a locked motorhome at McCloud and Tuolumne avenues between Oct. 17 and Jan. 24.

An overhead projector was stolen from an unlocked conference room at Blue Cross of California on Corporate Drive between Jan. 18 and 21.

Property valued at $900 was stolen from someone's home between June 29 and Nov. 2 in the 3600 block of Fieldcrest Court. The crime was only recently reported.

A female, 22, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 3000 block of Winding Lane. The incident was only recently reported.

Merchandise was stolen from a Sport Chalet on N. Moorpark Road at 12:41 p.m. Jan. 28.

For allegedly taking someone's cellphone from a shopping cart in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road and refusing to return it, a male, 55, was cited at 4 p.m. Dec. 28.

Property was stolen between Dec. 25 and Jan. 26 in the 700 block of Calle Pensamiento.

Merchandise valued at more than $400 was stolen between 11:45 and noon on Jan. 23 in the 200 block of Hampshire Road.

A street sign was removed from the center median on Avenida de Los Arboles and Big Sky between Jan. 2 and 24.

For petty theft, a female, 45, was cited and released at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 28 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Clothing was stolen from a store on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen between 10:30 and 11 a.m. Jan. 25 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Items from an open garage were stolen between 9:30 and 10:10 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 1100 block of Ramona Drive.

Gang-related vandalism occurred on Jan. 27 or 28 in a laundry room in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive.

Gang graffiti was found on a business property between Jan. 26 and 28 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Graffiti vandalism caused damage to private property on Jan. 26 or 27 in the 2800 block of Camino Calandria.

Known suspects besmirched Thousand Oaks High School with graffiti between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21.

Grand theft occurred between May 1 and Jan. 17 in the 1100 block of Elfstone Court.

The front door of someone's home was damaged when an unknown suspect kicked it on Jan. 25 or 26 in the 1300 block of Norman Avenue.

Property was stolen on Jan. 24 in the 3300 block of S. Medicine Bow Court.

A male, 24, reportedly possessed less than one ounce of marijuana at 10:41 p.m. Jan. 28 at Lake Sherwood Drive and Pixton Street.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following suspects were arrested: Two males, 49 and 28, at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 24 in an alleyway in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road (the 49-year-old suspect also allegedly had a pill of Xanax in his pocket); and a male, 38, at 7:25 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 1400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 51, was arrested and charged with drinking a can of Steel Reserve alcohol in public at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 30 in the first block of S. Rancho Road. The suspect was forced to dump the remaining contents and place the can in the trash.

A 24-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the 100 block of Lakeview Canyon Road. The suspect was also reported to be involved in a traffic accident.

A female, 51, was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of a controlled substance at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at Pierce Arrow Avenue and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Grand theft occurred in the 5600 block of Roundtree Place between July 2 and 4, but it was only recently reported.
