Senior Concerns looks at long-term care

"Taking the Guesswork Out of LongTerm Care Planning" will be the topic of a seminar taking place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., Feb. 12 at the Senior Concerns Adult Day Center, 401 Hodencamp Road in Thousand Oaks.

Carol A. Knowles will discuss how to identify the need for long-term care, the odds of requiring such care, the impact of long-term care on families, options for families considering long-term care, components of conventional insurance plans and alternative solutions for families with medical challenges.

Discussion with attendees and availability of literature about long-term care planning will follow Knowles' presentation.

There's no charge, but reservations are encouraged. Walk-in registration will be based on seating availability.
