Newbury Park

Two males, 22 and 21, were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon at East Valley Sheriff's Station at 6 p.m. Jan. 16 for a crime committed in the 400 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 61, was arrested on charges of brandishing a loaded weapon and threatening someone with bodily harm in the 2800 block of Michael Drive at 9:29 a.m. Jan. 11. The crime allegedly occurred in the 700 block of Warwick Avenue in Thousand Oaks.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 46, at noon Jan. 15 in the 1600 block of Lavery Court (suspect also reportedly possessed a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia); a female, 44, at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 12 at Ventu Park Road and the 101 Freeway; a male, 22, and a female, 18, at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 12 at Chalon Street and Ocatillo Court (stolen property was discovered in vehicle); a male, 34, at 12:10 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata (also allegedly possessed a controlled substance); and a male, 21, at 6:10 p.m. Jan. 11 at in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

A wallet was stolen between 12:15 and 1:30 a.m. Jan. 17 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive.

Spray paint caused damage to a vehicle on Jan. 13 or 14 in the 300 block of Jenny Drive.

More than $400 was stolen from an automatic carwash between 3:07 and 4:38 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios.

Vandalism occurred around 3:40 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 3400 block of N. Louis Road.

A burglary attempt occurred on Jan. 9 or 10 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

A male, 37, allegedly entered someone's home without permission around 2:50 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 900 block of Rancho Dos Vientos.

For drinking a 24-ounce can of Bud Light in public, a male, 22, was cited at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte.

A male, 23, was cited for drinking in public at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte.

For possessing alcohol, a male, 20, was cited at 9:14 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 3500 block of Spanish Gate. A male, 22, was also cited at the scene for providing beer to a minor.

Property was stolen from Borchard Park on Jan. 13 or 14.

Thousand Oaks

On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 21, at 2:07 a.m. Jan. 14 at the Jack In The Box on Moorpark Road; a male, 46, at 1:56 a.m. Jan. 13 at Westlake Boulevard and Cresthaven Drive (he was allegedly swerving and driving in the bicycle lane); a female, 71, at 8:54 p.m. Jan. 12 on Olsen Road, west of W. Country Club Drive (suspect was reportedly involved in a personal injury traffic collision); a male, 38, at 1:39 a.m. Jan. 12 at Camino La Maida and Calle Quebracho; and a male, 28, at 9:49 p.m. Jan. 10 while driving on the 23 Freeway near Sunset Hills Boulevard.

On a charge of brandishing a knife in a threatening manner, a male, 23, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Jan.12 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 35, at 5 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 2900 block of Calle Del Zuro; a female, 21, at 10:56 p.m. Jan. 14 at Duesenberg Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard (she allegedly possessed a glass smoking pipe); and a male, 27, at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles (he allegedly possessed heroin and ingesting paraphernalia).

For possessing marijuana, a male, 44, was cited at 4:21 p.m. Jan. 12 at Avenida de Las Flores and Moorpark Road.

A male, 20, was cited for possessing marijuana at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 1700 block of Cannes Drive.

For possessing marijuana and three Xanax pills without a prescription, a male, 19, was cited at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 1700 block of Cannes Drive.

A male, 20, reportedly possessed marijuana at 12:01 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 2800 block of Limestone Drive.

Charged with possessing marijuana, a male, 18, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Jan. 7 in the 1600 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: Between 4 and 5 p.m. Jan. 16 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (window broken); on Jan. 15 or 16 in the 1600 block of El Cerrito Drive (unlocked); between 1:39 and 1:41 a.m. Jan. 14 in the 100 block of Meagan Place (window broken); on Jan. 13 in the 2100 block of La Granada Drive; on Jan. 12 or 13 in the 1900 block of Laurelwood Court; between 1:25 and 2:30 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on Jan. 10 or 11 in the 300 block of Queensbury Street (digital camera and a laptop computer stolen from unlocked vehicle); between 1 and 5 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 400 block of Hillcrest Drive (window smashed, attempt made to pry open door); on Jan. 10 or 11 in the 700 block of Lynnmere Drive (unlocked); on Jan. 10 or 11 in the first block of Rolling Oaks Drive (window broken); and on Jan. 9 or 10 in the 300 block of Fox Hills Drive (window smashed); around 4:30 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 400 block of Moondance Street.

Windows on two vehicles were shattered on Jan. 12 or 13 in the 1900 block of Laurelwood Court.

A female, 25, reportedly lied to officers about her identity after she was caught prowling at 7:32 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 500 block of Debbie Street.

Two people smashed a restaurant's plate glass door at 5:40 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Shoplifting occurred between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Vandalism and grand theft of personal property occurred during daytime on Jan. 13 in the 1100 block of Burtonwood Avenue.

Graffiti vandalism occurred at five locations throughout the city between Nov. 21 and Dec. 24.

On suspicion of attempting to steal a vehicle, a male, 19, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A business in the 1300 block of Calle Castano was damaged by graffiti vandalism on Jan. 12 or 13.

Property was stolen off a front porch in the 200 block of Via Antonio on the early evening of Jan. 12.

A male, 30, was arrested on suspicion of possible elder abuse at 11 a.m. Jan. 11 in the 1100 block of Kelsford Court.

A female, 41, was arrested and charged with departing the Urban Outfitters store on Hillcrest Drive with $170 worth of merchandise around 8:30 p.m. Jan. 10. She also allegedly possessed medication without a valid prescription.

Property was damaged Jan. 9 or 10 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

An unknown person attempted to break into someone's home on Jan. 14 in the 2800 block of Hickorywood Lane.

Items in a storage locker were stolen between Jan. 8 and 11 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

Property was stolen Jan. 9 or 10 in the 1600 block of Dover Avenue.

A male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of purchasing items from Sears with his mother's credit card without her permission around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive.

For allegedly stealing merchandise by using her status as an employee to give away voided goods and unauthorized discounts, a female, 18, was arrested at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 1 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station for a crime committed in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 20, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 15 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 44, was cited for drinking in public at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 100 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Two males, 30 and 32, were cited for drinking cans of Budweiser in public at 2:05 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 700 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

On a charge of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 53, at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 16 at Janss and Moorpark roads; and a male, 49, at 10:09 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road;

Westlake Village

A male, 66, was arrested and charged with committing a lewd act with a child under the age of 14 at 11:25 a.m. Jan. 16 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. The crime allegedly occurred on Nov. 14 at a location in Westlake Village.

A male, 19, was arrested at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 in the 4100 block of Arrowhead Circle on suspicion of depositing a stolen check into his bank. He was also allegedly involved in a residential burglary in Newbury Park.

Lake Sherwood

In a gang-related offense, unknown suspects entered a home and stole property between Nov. 20 and Jan. 2 in the 300 block of Lake Sherwood Drive.
