La Reina to host parent education night

The Guidance Department at La Reina High School will offer a Junior High Parent Education Night at 7 p.m. Wed., Jan. 30 in La Reina's cafeteria, 106 W. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

The workshop discusses preparing students for college and is for parents of students in grades five through nine.

Topics will include adolescent development, the various college systems, college requirements and long-range preparation for college admission.
