Portrait sculptor shares his talent at T.O. art gallery

Thousand Oaks Art Association will present "Sculpting the Portrait with Paul Lucchesi," 7 to 9 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 21 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331-A Borchard Road in Newbury Park.

Lucchesi is a sculptor and painter whose work is inspired by Italian Renaissance and Baroque sculpture. He has served as professor of sculpture at New School University and has taught workshops around the United States and in Pietrasanta, Italy.

Lucchesi will select an audience member whose portrait he will sculpt in clay.

Admission costs $10 for general admission, $5 for students and seniors and is free for Thousand Oaks Art Association members.
