Winter art gallery is hosted today

The Meadows Elementary inaugural winter art gallery will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Thurs., Jan. 24 at Meadows Elementary, 2000 La Granada Drive in Thousand Oaks.

The art gallery will showcase art projects and demonstrations by students in the school's art instructional program, which includes visual arts, dance, ceramics and art appreciation.

The winter art gallery will be followed by the Meadows PTA storytelling event, "The Wisdom Tree," a Native American cultural experience. Parents and children will listen to stories while sitting in an outdoor tepee, weather permitting.
