Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 48, at 6:28 a.m. Dec. 29 at the intersection of Old Conejo Road and Jenny Drive (hitand-run traffic accident); and a male, 38, at 11:37 p.m. Jan. 2 at the intersection of W. Hillcrest Drive and Avenida del Platino (unsafe speed).

A male, 20, allegedly used a beer bottle to batter and injure someone at 1:18 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 600 block of Kitty Street.

An arsonist started a fire inside Longs Drugs on Reino Road around 3:45 p.m. Jan. 3.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: between noon and 1 p.m. Jan 6 in the 100 block of N. Reino Road (purse stolen); on Jan. 1 or 2 in the 900 block of Lindawood Street (window broken); and between Jan. 4 and 7 in the 1200 block of Lawrence Drive (window broken).

For stealing property, a female, 34, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

A theft occurred early in the afternoon of Dec. 18 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

Shoplifting occurred at the Target on Teller Road between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Jan. 5.

A male, 21, who had allegedly passed out in the street, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 12:21 a.m. Jan. 6 at Cindy and Theresa drives.

A sidewalk was found to be vandalized at Dena and Lesser drives at 3 p.m. Jan. 7.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 45, at 5:23 p.m. Jan. 2 on Rancho Conejo Boulevard, south of Teller Road (traffic collision); and a female, 42, at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 3 driving eastbound on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at Maegan Place (suspect allegedly involved in traffic accident that injured another).

A male, 62, was arrested and charged with solicitation of murder at 7:07 p.m. Jan. 3 in Big Bear Lake in connection with a crime committed Dec. 13 in the 3900 block of Calle del Sol.

A male, 35, allegedly slapped his wife's face at 10:52 a.m. Jan. 2 in the 3100 block of Via Colinas.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A male, 45, at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 4 in the first block of E. Wilbur Drive; a male, 38, at 1:45 a.m. Jan. 4 in the first block of E. Wilbur Drive; a male, 41, at 1:36 a.m. Jan. 4 in the 200 block of Hodencamp Road (suspect also reportedly possessed a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia); and a female, 21, at 1:50 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (suspect also allegedly attempted to steal shoes from Macy's).

Vehicle break-ins were reported on the following dates and places: Between 11:45 a.m. and 3:22 p.m. Dec. 31 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (window broken); between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 3600 block of N. Moorpark Road (purse stolen); between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 100 block of N. Rancho Road; on Jan. 3 or 4 in the 4000 block of Calle del Sol (two backpacks stolen); on Jan. 3 or 4 in the 4000 block of Calle del Sol (electronic equipment stolen); at 6:20 a.m. Jan. 4 in the 2100 block of E. Flintridge Court; on Jan 3 or 4 in the 200 block of Fox Hills Drive (window broken); on Jan. 6 or 7 at the intersection of Los Padres and Rolling Oaks Drive (computer stolen); and sometime in January in the 700 block of St. Charles Drive (unsecured vehicle).

A male, 27, was arrested and charged with being involved in a hitand-run traffic accident at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 19, was reportedly driving a vehicle with marijuana and alcohol inside it at 9:37 p.m. Jan. 9 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Rancho Road. An 18-year-old male passenger was also cited for possessing alcohol.

A vehicle search of an unregistered vehicle uncovered drug paraphernalia, and a male, 36, was cited at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7 on the southbound 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road.

For possessing marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 7:06 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 600 block of Via Colinas.

A female, 36, was cited for not properly securing a 1-year-old child in a car seat at 1:49 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive. The woman was not the child's parent or legal guardian.

Someone's home was burglarized on Jan. 6 or 7 in the 3200 block of Allegheny Court.

A male, 18, allegedly possessed marijuana at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

A male, 22, was arrested in Oxnard on Jan. 3 and charged with stealing more than $400 in merchandise from a business in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive on Nov. 8.

For possessing a counterfeit Social Security card without a signature on it, a male, 53, was cited at 9:11 p.m. Jan. 6 at Moorpark Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 45, was arrested on a battery charge and released at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 26 in the 600 block of Paige Lane.

For allegedly wielding a knife in a threatening manner to two people she knew, a female, 52, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 1300 block of Rancho Lane.

A burglary was attempted on Jan. 5 or 6 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Someone used a large rock to smash a vehicle's rear window between 9:20 and 9:25 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 300 block of Galsworthy Street.

Property was stolen between Oct. 15 and Dec. 27 in the 2400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 50, reportedly kicked and damaged a bathroom door around 4 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 400 block of Fallbrook Avenue.

An unknown suspect stole someone's keys and attempted to drive off in a vehicle between 8:15 and 8:25 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Three storm drain covers were stolen on Jan. 6 or 7 in the 200 block of Conejo Ridge Avenue.

Property was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck during the early afternoon of Dec. 12 in the 2500 block of Vistawood Circle. The incident was recently reported.

Someone attempted to break into a locked building on Jan. 3 or 4 in the 900 block of Westcreek Lane.

Property was stolen from an unlocked residence on Jan. 2 or 3 in the 1500 block of Campbell Avenue.

A home was burglarized between Dec. 21 and Jan. 7 in the 300 block of Calle Jazmin.

A home was burglarized on New Year's Eve in the 1100 block of Waverly Heights.

Property was stolen from a Home Depot on Hampshire Road between Dec. 31 and Jan. 4.

Equipment was stolen from a locked storage bin on Jan. 3 or 4 in the 600 block of Woodlawn Drive.

A credit card machine had $2,000 in damages while $15 was reported missing from a business on Jan. 8 or 9 in the 500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Property was stolen from a home in the 3100 block of Black Hills Court on Jan. 4 or 5.

A home was burglarized between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Jan. 7 in the 3000 block of Winding Lane.

Vandalism occurred on Jan. 8 or 9 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Between Nov. 15 and Jan. 9, graffiti was discovered on a concrete drainage ditch in Wildwood Park.

A theft was reported at 11:50 p.m. Jan. 1 in the 500 block of Raindance Circle.

Automobile parts were stolen between Dec. 26 and 29 in the 700 block of Hampshire Road.

On a charge of petty theft, a female, 40, was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 3 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A car was vandalized with paintball projectiles between Dec. 24 and Jan. 1 in the first block of W. Olsen Road.

A suspect drove a truck onto property marked "no trespassing" at California Lutheran University around 8 p.m. Jan. 6.

Property was stolen from a locked office between Dec. 23 and Jan. 3 in the 300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A wallet was stolen from a store in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive around 6 p.m. Jan. 1.

Property was stolen from a business between 3:05 and 3:36 a.m. Jan. 3 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 56, allegedly stole about $8,000 from her former employer's credit card machine on Sept. 11 in the 1100 block of N. Lindero Canyon Road. The suspect was recently arrested in Santa Barbara.

Property was stolen from someone's home in the 2500 block of Vista Wood Circle between noon and 2 p.m. Jan. 3.

A female, 47, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 6:49 p.m. Jan. 5 at W. Janss Road and Hendrix Avenue.

For drinking a bottle of Taaka vodka in public, a male, 58, was cited at 9 a.m. Jan. 3 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Someone's BlackBerry was stolen from a shopping cart in Gelson's Market on Townsgate Road between 2:30 and 3:15 p.m. Dec. 28.

Lake Sherwood

A female, 43, was arrested on a charge of felony vandalism at 7 p.m. Jan. 2 in the 500 block of Stafford Road.
