Acorn's 'fix it' was wrong

Regarding the Jan. 10 "For the record," I am glad to see that the staff will be "taking a mandatory refresher courses in geography."

Perhaps upon completion of that course they then will be required to take a class in grammer and spelling, most especially concentrating in the correct uses of the singular and plural!

On deadline, the editor decided that we needed refresher courses (plural) and in his haste he forgot to delete "a." The online version has been fixed.

By the way, it's "grammar," not "grammer."
