CRPD board selects leader

At the Jan. 3 board of directors meeting of Conejo Recreation and Park District, George M. Lange was selected to serve as chair for 2008.

Lange was reelected in 2004 to a four-year term, has served on the board of directors since 1990 and has served as chair numerous times before.

He thanked outgoing chair Mark Jacobsen for his many years of leadership and noted highlights and accomplishments of 2007.

Lange's current committee assignments include Ventura County Special Districts Association, Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Advisory Committee, Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, and Teen Center and Services Authority.

Susan Holt, a 14-year member of the board of directors, was selected as vice chair.
