Track club accepting new registrations

The Newbury Park Track Club will conduct registration on the next two Saturdays, Jan. 19 and 26 at the Borchard Community Center at 190 Reino Road.

The cost is $90 to register, which includes a uniform. Families with more than one child participating pay $80 each for additional youngsters.

The other expense is a refundable $100 deposit to ensure that each family completes at least three volunteer assignments during the season.

Participants range in age from 7 to 16. Registrants and their parents are asked to bring a copy of the child's birth certificate, a checkbook, calendar and the child, who will be sized for his or her uniform.
