SITUATION EXPLAINED- - On the corner of Hillcrest Drive and Conejo School Road bulldozers are moving earth around behind a chain-link fence that now blocks a path to open space. The fence is scheduled to be removed in about a year when construction of new homes is complete. There are also plans to improve the trail so it will wind gradually upward instead of going straight up the hill, as it does now.
