Family health seminar to be held in T.O.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes will present a health education, disease prevention and nutrition lecture titled "Got Health? Your Family's Health Matters" at 6:45 p.m. Mon., Jan. 14 at the Thousand Oaks High School Performing Arts Center, 2323 N. Moorpark Road.

Health educator Tami Hulcher, president and CEO of Ola Loa Inc., will speak. She is a former radio cohost, wellness coordinator and nutritional consultant for healthcare professionals and a member of the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Topics include the right food choices, what's in food, what creates a healthy body and how food additives affect the body. Hulcher says there's a direct correlation between nutrition and disease, learning and behavior.

Reservations are required by calling Lisa at (805) 498-3617, ext. 1011.
