Bridal show celebrates its silver anniversary
The Bridal Premiere, a day of wedding exhibits and fashion shows, will celebrate its 25th anniversary Sun., Jan. 13 at the annual Hyatt Westlake Plaza bridal show.
Exhibit hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and fashion shows are scheduled for 12:30 and 3 p.m.
Each bride-to-be in attendance will be entered for onstage drawings and will also receive a bride's bag filled with a large assortment of major bridal magazines.
The show features 63 vendors who will answer questions, provide advice and pricing, and assist bridestobe with all aspects of wedding planning. Vendors include bakeries, caterers, DJs, florists, photographers, live music, videographers, wedding locations, hotels and restaurants, travel agencies, bridal salons, tuxedo shops, wedding planners, limo services, favors and the Chocolate Fountain.
The two fashion shows will feature bridal attire and evening wear from David's Bridal, The Men's Wearhouse and Friar Tux Shops. Florists include Flowers by Stacey Martin, Enchanted Castle Flowers and Flowers by Jan. Fashion show music is provided by Jim and Carrie Caldwell, and the harp prelude is provided by Vonette.
Couples will have an opportunity to win thousands of dollars in door prizes, including 25 special anniversary giveaways, and an onlineonly "enter to win" honeymoon weekend package at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza.
To enter to win the honeymoon package, bridestobe must preregister before the event at info@bridalpremiere.com with name, address, ZIP code, telephone number and date of wedding. The drawings will take place after the second fashion show, and winners must be present to win.
