Chamber breakfast, mixer planned

The Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts the Networking Breakfast of Champions, sponsored by Inside Auto, on Fri., Jan. 11 at the Los Robles Greens Banquet Center, 299 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Registration begins at 6:45 a.m., with an early bird drawing at 7 a.m.

Special guest Louis A. Cappadona from Nordman, Cormany, Hair & Compton will discuss "New Laws and Strategic Decisions for 2008." Topics will include new employment laws, how these laws will affect businesses, and employment strategies to protect the workplace.

Prepaid reservations are due by 2 p.m. today, Jan. 10. Chamber members pay $18.50, nonmembers $23.50. Payment after the deadline or at the door is $27.

•The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce will host an After Five Mixer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Body Sanctuary, 850 Hampshire Road in Westlake Village.

Food and refreshments will be provided, along with raffle prizes. Cost is $2 for Chamber members, $10 for nonmembers. No RSVP is required.
