Janss Marketplace has open mike night

Janss Marketplace is hosting monthly open mike nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second Thursday of the month at its community fountain plaza near Mervyns in the shopping center at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in T.O.

The event will be preceded and followed by 20-minute water and light shows at 6 and 8 p.m. The next open mike night will be Thurs., Jan. 10. Musicians are invited to perform.
