Registration begins for adult softball league

The Conejo Recreation and Park District is accepting registration for the 2008 Adult Spring/Summer Softball League.

Games are played Sunday through Friday evenings from March 2 to July.

The league is open to ages 16 and up. Divisions are coed, men's, men's masters, men's and women's church, and women's open.

Games are played at Thousand Oaks Community Park, Pepper Tree Playfield and Borchard Community Park.

Teams are scheduled for 12 league games plus district championship playoffs.

Entry fees are $467 for indistrict teams and $560 for out-of-district teams.

Register at the Sports Office in the Hillcrest Center, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, weekdays between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Registration is also accepted by mail, walk-in or by faxing applications to (805) 381-2726.

Applications may be downloaded from www.crpd.org. Registration packets are also available at all district facilities.
