Local soccer coaches Bill Propster, Frank Marino and Aerick Brown will conduct a soccer camp for kids ages 5 through 14 at Westlake High School Dec. 29 through 31.

It is the coaches' philosophy that young players learn best when having fun. The camp focuses on teaching ball control, dribbling, shooting, passing and receiving, and fundamental tactics while playing fun smallsided games.

During these games, players will get hundreds of touches on the ball in a competitive situation. A different skill is emphasized each day.

The coaches each have more than 20 years of coaching and playing experience. Each has coached at the club, high school and college levels and have United States Soccer Federation coaching licenses.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The cost is $125. For more information, call (805) 376-1903.
