Sheriff's Blotter A male, 51, allegedly battered his spouse and was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Dec. 14 in the 3800 block of Calle Loma Vista. On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 19, at 5 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 600 block of Martha Drive; and a female, 32, at 12:50 a.m. Dec. 14 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject reportedly had two outstanding warrants for being under the influence of a controlled substance.) A burglar attempted to break into a home between 11:58 a.m. and noon Dec. 11 in the 5300 block of Via Andrea but walked away when observed by someone inside. Another home burglary attempt was made between 6:15 a.m. and 12:37 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 700 block of La Grange Avenue. A business was burglarized on Dec. 17 or 18 in the 2000 block of Newbury Road. A vandal put sugar and water into a vehicle gas tank, causing $1,000 in damage, on Dec. 11 or 12 in the 3800 block of Briar Ridge Court. A residential burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 2:39 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 3800 block of Lesser Drive. A burglar entered a home through an unlocked side garage door and stole car keys between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in the 3800 block of Lesser Drive. A male, 40, was arrested for allegedly violating a protective restraining order at 8:50 a.m. Dec. 16 in the 3800 block of San Marcos Court. A shoplifter stole items from Albertsons at 541 S. Reino Road between 9 and 9:22 p.m. Dec. 4. Shoplifters attempted to steal property from Albertsons on Sept. 21. The crime was recently reported. Gang graffiti was discovered at Wendy Park on Dec. 15. The damage estimate is $300. Gang graffiti ($300 loss) caused damage to walls, door and hot water heater of a laundry room between Dec. 12 and 15 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata. Shipping packages were stolen from the front porch of two homes between 10 and 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Fallbrook Avenue. A vandal threw a bottle and broke a vehicle window ($200 in damage) between Dec. 7 and 12 in the 3300 block of Bear Creek Drive. The front passenger window of a vehicle was broken ($350 in damage) on Dec. 13 or 14 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Around 8:45 a.m. Dec. 11 in the 3500 block of Gerald Drive (unlocked); and between 2:45 and 5:10 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 2700 block of Teller Road ($550 in damage.) Thousand Oaks A male, 22, was reportedly drinking alcohol in public around 5:40 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 1000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. During a search, police say, they found he possessed a substance believed to be cocaine. He was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 53, at 9:20 p.m. Dec. 16 on Avenida de Los Arboles and Oak Brook Drive (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision that injured another person); a female, 38, at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 2100 block of Sirius Street (subject was allegedly involved in a minor traffic collision); a male, 60, at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 12 at Westlake Boulevard and Townsgate Road; a male, 21, at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 13 at Avenida de Las Flores and Avenida de Las Plantas; a female, 29, at 2:26 a.m. at Warwick Avenue and Mayflower Street; a male, 28, at 12:55 a.m. Dec. 18 at Moorpark Road and Columbia Drive (suspect reportedly didn't stop at a red light and was driving at an unsafe speed during inclement weather and road conditions); and a female, 64, at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 13 at Westlake Boulevard and Northshore Lane. On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 37, at 12:05 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 1100 block of Monte Sereno Place; a male, 39, at 12:55 a.m. Dec. 12 in the 1700 block of Wellesley Drive; a male, 47, at 10 p.m. Dec. 12 at Windsor and Janss roads; and a male, 22, at 9:25 p.m. Dec. 17 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (crime occurred in Oak Park earlier in the night.) An unknown assailant grabbed and pushed somebody against a wall around 9:20 a.m. Dec. 16 in the first block of W. Olsen Road. The victim, who was walking across a bridge toward a school, kicked and fought the suspect before running away. A male, 44, allegedly battered someone he's dating and was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 19 in the 300 block of Siesta Avenue. A burglary and a stolen vehicle occurred between 2:30 and 2:45 a.m. Dec. 11 in the 3100 block of Calle Quebracho. A male, 38, allegedly possessed 1.3 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a glass pipe with a powder residue on it. He was arrested at 4 a.m. Dec. 14 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A female, 27, was cited for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 2:25 p.m. Dec. 13 in the 400 block of N. Moorpark Road. The collision occurred a few blocks away in the 700 block of Moorpark Road. A male, 30, damaged the glass doors of East Valley Sheriff's Station after being released from custody around 4 p.m. Dec. 9. He was arrested and charged for that crime at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on Dec. 16. For urinating in the parking lot at Janss Marketplace, a male, 35, was cited at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 12. For allegedly stealing $91.50 in merchandise from Macy's at 220 W. Hillcrest Drive, a female, 37, was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Dec. 16. The subject was also suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A robber used force to steal property around 9:50 p.m. Dec. 14 at Calle Bouganvilla and Avenida de Los Arboles. A male, 20, was cited for allegedly committing battery on Dec. 15 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. A male, 19, allegedly stole property from a business in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, and he was arrested at 2:40 p.m. Dec. 17. The suspect reportedly had stolen items from the same store two days earlier. A female, 22, was arrested and charged with filing a false police report at 9:15 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 1700 block of Woodside Drive. For allegedly committing a burglary in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles in November, a male, 47, was arrested in the office of his parole agent in Victorville, Calif., by Ventura County detectives on Dec. 11. Police transported him back to Ventura County for booking. A home was burglarized between 9 and 10:50 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 100 block of Lake Sherwood Drive. A male, 21, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Moorpark Road. A thief stole a wallet from a purse, which was under the victim's desk in an unlocked school office at Little Oaks School on 101 N. Skyline Drive, between 2 and 3:45 p.m. Dec. 12. The loss was less than $400 after vandals damaged property at Thousand Oaks High School between Nov. 1 and Dec. 8. A burglar broke a home's window and attempted to enter and steal property around 9 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 1500 block of Devonshire Avenue. A female, 25, was cited for petty theft at noon Dec. 12 in the 300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. A shoplifter stole property from the Vitamin Shoppe at 75 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 4:50 and 5 p.m. Dec. 12. A shoplifter stole more than $400 in merchandise from Ralphs grocery store at 1500 N. Moorpark Road between 6:54 and 6:57 p.m. Dec. 14. On suspicion of stealing merchandise from Vons grocery store at 1790 N. Moorpark Road (subject was captured on video surveillance and store employees witnessed crime), a male, 38, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 10 in Santa Paula. A female, 28, was arrested and charged with petty theft and knowingly possessing a false government document in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road. Gang graffiti caused damage to a business on Dec. 10 or 11 in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The loss was $200. Gang graffiti was discovered at three properties in the 1100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Dec. 12. A vandal smashed two mailboxes (possibly with a baseball bat) on Dec. 11 or 12 in the first block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Dec. 12 or 13 in the 700 block of E. Calle Contento (a GPS unit and a garden hose were stolen from an unlocked vehicle); between 9:35 and 9:40 a.m. Dec. 9 in the 3300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (two dogs in the locked car were stolen); on Dec. 10 or 11 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive; on July 30 or 31 in the 400 block of Whitegate Road (unlocked, and crime was recently reported); between 9 a.m. and 1:21 p.m. Dec. 14 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road (window broken, purse stolen); on Dec. 14 at the Conejo Creek Dog Park; between Dec. 4 and 18 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino (a U.S. passport was stolen); and on Dec. 18 in the 5600 block of Greenhaven Circle. A car window was smashed ($300 in damage) on Dec. 10 or 11 in the 2700 block of Vista Wood Circle. The following subjects were cited for possessing small amounts of marijuana: A male, 24, at 10:36 p.m. Dec. 11 in the parking lot of Vons at 1790 N. Moorpark Road; a female, 26, at 9:14 p.m. Dec. 12 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas; and a male, 24, at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas. The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: Two males, both 37, at 8 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; and two males, 39 and 28, at 8:50 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles. Westlake/T.O. A male, 41, was arrested for allegedly engaging in three or more acts of sexual molestation with a child under the age of 14 with whom he came into contact for a period no less than three months. The suspect was also charged with committing sexual penetration and oral copulation with a minor. He was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road. The alleged crimes occurred in the 4100 block of Churchill Drive in Newbury Park. Christmas decorations were stolen from a front yard on Dec. 12 or 13 in the 3900 block of Skelton Canyon Circle. A vandal damaged $200 of landscape lights in a greenbelt between Dec. 2 and 9 in the 2700 block of Lakeridge Lane. A male, 25, allegedly violated his probation by drinking alcohol on Dec. 8 and was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 18 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. A home was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 500 block of Hampshire Road. An unlocked bicycle was stolen from the front of a store between 11:49 and 11:53 a.m. Dec. 13 in the 1000 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. Apparently, the perpetrator left behind an older bike. Property was stolen between Nov. 25 and Dec. 9 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. A female, 25, allegedly forged someone's check in her own name and cashed it on Aug. 15 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. The suspect was arrested Dec. 11 in the 2000 block of Via Arandana in Camarillo. An attempted burglary of a business occurred on Dec. 11 or 12 in the 3100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
