Janss Marketplace and the Thousand Oaks Jewish Center will host a Hanukkah Family Festival from 5 to 7 p.m. Mon., Dec. 22 in the food court of the Janss Marketplace, 275 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event is open to the community and free.

Festivities include a giant menorah, a comedy balloon show, live music, candle making, latkes, hot chocolate, face painting and more.

The event will be in honor of the victims of the terrorist attack in Mumbai, India.
