The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 25, at noon Dec. 8 at Fallbrook Avenue and Maurice Drive (subject was involved in a hit-and-run collision); and a male, 36, at 5:40 a.m. Dec. 6 at Mapleleaf Avenue and Lynn Road (subject was allegedly passed out in his truck in a parking lot with the engine running and lights on—police reportedly found him soon after driving and nearly hitting a parked car.)
A male, 18, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 2100 block of Lynn Road.
A female, 67, was cited for petty theft at 10:08 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 2600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.
A male, 23, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana while driving at 3:15 a.m. Dec. 6 at Wendy and Gerald drives.
One home was burglarized and there was an attempt on a second home around 1:30 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 3000 block of Bernadine Street. A third home was burglarized on Dec. 10 in the 100 block of S. Walter Avenue.
A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Dec. 9 or 10 in the 100 block of Walter Avenue.
Two thieves stole DVDs from Albertsons at 541 S. Reino Road between 4:08 and 4:16 p.m. Nov. 19. The crime was recently reported.
A burglar broke into and stole property from a business between Dec. 5 and 7 in the 2500 block of Azurite Circle.
Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Jeanne Court on Dec. 9 or 10. A thief rummaged through two other unlocked cars on the same block, but nothing else was stolen.
A car was keyed on Dec. 5 or 6 in the 3800 block of Briar Ridge Court.
An unknown caustic chemical was poured on a car, causing $5,000 in damage, on Dec. 6 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.
Two cars and a house were vandalized with eggs and chocolate, with graffiti scribbled on the sidewalk. The crime occurred on Dec. 5 or 6 in the 100 block of Via Felicia.
Thousand Oaks
Three subjects were allegedly involved in a drug deal in the Rite Aid parking lot at Moorpark Road and Avenida de Los Arboles around 11 p.m. Dec. 4. All three subjects—two males, 28 and 20, and a 28-year-old female— possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and allegedly were under the influence of a controlled substance. The female subject allegedly possessed 13 individual Ziploc bags of a substance believed to be meth for sale. When police found 0.7 grams of a similar substance in the female suspect's possession, she was charged with bringing drugs into jail.
A male, 46, drove his car through a crime scene, and police determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol. The subject was uncooperative and combative when police tried to detain him, and he was also charged with resisting arrest at 11:50 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 800 block of Avenida de Las Flores.
A male, 29, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:34 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 43, at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 2600 block of Willow Lane; a female, 28, at 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at Los Robles Hospital; a male, 51, at 3:34 p.m. Dec. 3 in the first block of Marimar Court; a female, 22, at 9 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 1400 block of Rancho Lane; a female, 32, at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Calle Catalpa and Camino Graciosa (subject allegedly had a glass smoking pipe in her purse); a male, 23, at 8:10 p.m. Dec. 6 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station; a female, 37, at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 2600 block of Willow Lane; a male, 23, at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 43, at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 9 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a female, 45, at noon Dec. 3 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive; and a male, 18, at 12:54 p.m. Dec. 4 at Windsor Drive and E. Gainsborough Road.
A male, 41, allegedly battered and injured his wife on Dec. 4, and possibly did it again on Dec. 10. He was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 400 block of Erbes Road.
On charges of battering his exgirlfriend and vandalizing property at the scene, a male, 20, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road. The crime allegedly occurred around 2 p.m. the same day in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.
A male, 24, allegedly battered and injured his live-in girlfriend, and he was arrested at 3 p.m. Dec. 8 in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive.
A female, 57, allegedly scratched someone in the face with her nails and was arrested at 10 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 700 block of Sumter Court.
A female, 69, was arrested and charged with battery at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 2300 block of Arapaho Avenue.
For allegedly making criminal threats and committing felony vandalism, a female, 18, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 1300 block of Rancho Lane.
On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, a male, 41, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 2600 block of Willow Lane.
A female, 39, and her daughter, 18, allegedly stole $7,000 in merchandise over a 20day period from J.C. Penney at 280 W. Hillcrest Drive. The 18year-old subject worked at the store, and both subjects were arrested between 6 and 6:45 p.m. Dec. 6.
A male was cited for shoplifting at 1:40 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.
On charges of making criminal threats and being involved in street terrorism in the 4100 block of Lemonberry Place, a male, 24, was arrested Dec. 7 in Tarzana.
Acacia Elementary School was the site of graffiti damage in several places between Dec. 5 and 7.
Charged with being drunk in public and causing a disturbance at the Borderline Bar & Grill at 99 Rolling Oaks Drive, a female, 42, was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Dec. 5. A male, 49, was also arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 11 a.m. Dec. 4 somewhere on Moorpark Road.
A male, 24, was arrested and charged with possessing pirated music CDs at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Meagan Place.
On suspition of trying to sell books door-to-door without a permit, a male, 30, and a female, 20, were arrested at 5:35 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 1200 block of Bucksmoore Court.
A male, 21, allowed an unlicensed minor to drive his car. The minor got into a traffic accident, and the adult subject was cited at 12:20 p.m. Dec. 6 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.
Grand theft occurred on Nov. 23 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and S. Pierce Arrow Avenue. The crime was recently reported.
Property was stolen between Nov. 27 and Dec. 4 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.
A business was burglarized between 4:40 and 4:50 p.m. Dec. 5 in the 2800 block of Townsgate Road.
A burglary was attempted at Best Buy at 390 N. Moorpark Road between 3:35 and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 6.
A woman's wallet was stolen at her workplace between 11:20 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 6 in the 900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Items were stolen from a mailbox between 10:30 and 11 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 3900 block of Calle del Sol. A similar crime occurred between 6:45 a.m. and noon on Dec. 8 in the 1400 block of Calle de Oro.
Gang graffiti was placed on a wall of an apartment complex in the 800 block of St. Charles Drive between Dec. 5 and 8. The damage estimate was $100.
Gang graffiti was discovered on a sound wall at the 23 Freeway and Avenida de Las Flores on Dec. 5. The damage was $300.
Graffiti caused damage to a sound wall at an undisclosed location along the 23 Freeway on Dec. 7 or 8.
Tools from a bed of a truck were stolen on Dec. 9 or 10 in the 2900 block of Camino Graciosa.
A car was vandalized with splattered paint ($500 in damage) between 5 and 9 p.m. Dec. 4 in the first block of Marimar Street.
Paint caused damage to concrete stairs, a steel railing, a walkway and a water fountain ($500 in damage) on Dec. 4 in the 100 block of W. Janss Road.
A burglar broke into a locked vehicle and removed the vehicle ignition switch in an attempt to steal the vehicle. The crime occurred between Dec. 1 and 8 in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane.
Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 in the 2300 block of McCrea Road; and between 1:30 and 4:50 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Dec. 2 or 3 in the 1000 block of Westcreek Lane.
Property was stolen on Nov. 30 or Dec.1 in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
