•Simone Moscovitch was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Nov. 8 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. She is a seventh-grade ASB leader at Colina Middle School and the daughter of Esti and Alon Moscovitch of Westlake Village.

•Nicole Chernavsky was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Nov. 22 at Temple Etz Chaim in Thousand Oaks. She is an eighth-grade student at Sequoia Middle School and the daughter of Inna and Nikolay Chernavsky of Thousand Oaks.
