Fun things are happening at Janss Marketplace

Janss Marketplace, at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks, will offer these events this month:

•Janss Carolers will sing throughout the shopping center from 5 to 7 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in December.

•Photos with Santa will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday until Christmas Eve.

•Local Girl Scouts will sing Christmas carols from 2 to 4 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20.

•The Hanukkah Family Festival will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Mon., Dec. 22 in the Janss food courtyard. This free event will have a giant menorah, the Buster Balloon Show balloon twisting, live music by Israeli singer Yosi Saffi Levy, hot latkes, face painting, raffle prizes and a children's craft.

•A sidewalk sale will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Dec. 27. A Kids Fun Zone offering a free craft project will also take place from noon to 3 p.m. the same day.
