•Army National Guard Pfc. Brian Mundy has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He's a 2000 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and the brother of Fred Sills of Thousand Oaks.

•Army Pfc. David C. Anderson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He's the son of James Anderson of Westlake Village and a 2006 graduate of Westlake High School.
