The Conejo Valley YMCA will kick off a free seminar series on health and wellness issues with a program on Medicare insurance options at 10:30 a.m. Wed., Dec. 17 at the Y, 4031 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

SCAN Health Plan will present the program.

The seminar will cover prescription drug coverage and supplemental insurance for individuals on Medicare.

Lakeside Community Medical HeathCare is scheduled to offer free blood pressure screenings.
