Newbury Park

For allegedly stealing a vehicle on Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Regal Avenue, a male, 28, was arrested Nov. 25 in Santa Paula.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 28, at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 28 on Lynn Road, east of Meadowcrest Street (subject was allegedly involved in a single-vehicle, rollover traffic accident); a male, 37, at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Shady Oaks and Hillcrest drives (subject reportedly was weaving, had an inoperable brake light, had no driver's license, possessed what was believed to be a controlled substance and was possibly under the influence of a controlled substance); and a male, 24, at 3:40 a.m. Nov. 22 at Michael Drive and Cay Court.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 44, at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 4 in the 3800 block of San Felipe Avenue; a male, 23, at 2:15 p.m. Dec. 3 at Calle Turquesa and Paseo Esmeralda (subject reportedly tried to flee on foot); a female, 39, at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 29 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject allegedly possessed a controlled substance and a smoking device); a male, 33, at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 29 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject possessed what was believed to be a controlled substance); and a female, 27, at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 30 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

For resisting arrest and injuring a deputy, a male, 43, was arrested and charged at 8:58 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Conejo Creek Condominiums.

A female, 53, allegedly battered and injured her husband, and she was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Nov. 25 in the 200 block of San Vincente Circle.

On charges of shoplifting merchandise from Kohl's, a male, 37, was arrested at 12:56 p.m. Dec. 1.

Graffiti caused $50 in property damage on Nov. 30 in the first block of S. Dewey.

A male, 43, was cited for attempting to conceal drug paraphernalia at 2:20 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Jewelry valued at $5,470 was stolen from someone's home between Aug. 17 and Nov. 2 in the 200 block of Mayfield Court. The crime was recently reported.

Possessions valued at $1,250 were stolen between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 1200 block of Alessandro Drive.

Walnut Elementary School had property damage after vandals entered it on Nov. 25 or 26.

Property was damaged ($2,000 loss) on Nov. 27 in the 4500 block of Via Don Luis.

Gang graffiti resulted in property damage at two locations of Conejo Creek Condominiums in the 600 block of Platino Street. The damage estimate was $300.

A vehicle break-in occurred on Nov. 24 or 25 in the 1100 block of Combs Road.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 26, at 1:20 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 30, at 2:25 a.m. Nov. 26 on Hillcrest Drive, west of Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road and weaving); a male, 59, at 10:35 a.m. Nov. 27 driving north on Moorpark and Janss roads (subject reportedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 24, at 11:45 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision); a female, 30, at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 28 on northbound 23 Freeway, north of Sunset Hills; a male, 21, at 1:47 a.m. Nov. 29 in the first block of E. Wilbur; a male, 32, at 6:57 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 100 block of Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly involved in a traffic collision); a male, 21, at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 23 at Janss Park-and-Ride; a male, 33, at 1 p.m. Nov. 25 driving south on Moorpark Road from Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 62, at 5:02 p.m. Nov. 24 in the 500 block of Lotus Avenue (subject was reportedly involved in a noninjury traffic accident); and a male, 49, at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 24 at Hillcrest Drive and Westlake Boulevard (subject was also charged with compromising the safety of a child.)

A male, 23, was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision that injured a pedestrian, and he was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 400 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 47, at 3:34 p.m. Dec. 3 in the first block of Mirimar Street; a male, 51, at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia and what was believed to be a controlled substance); a male, 20, at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Avenida de Las Flores and the southbound 23 Freeway; a male, 28, at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive; and a female, 50, at 1:15 p.m. Nov. 26 at Keats Avenueand Sandberg Street.

A female, 26, allegedly bit her boyfriend on the back, causing a visible injury. The subject then allegedly punched her boyfriend's wife in the face and also broke a glass window at his home. The subject was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 1800 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.

A male, 27, was arrested on charges of domestic violence on Dec. 4 at East Valley Sheriff's Station. The crime occurred Nov. 27 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A female, 37, allegedly inflicted corporal injury on her spouse and was arrested at 5 a.m. Nov. 29 in the 2600 block of Stafford Road.

A male, 50, was arrested on charges of computer fraud and making threatening phone calls at 8 a.m. Dec. 2 in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Road.

A male, 21, allegedly committed battery around 3:16 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 1600 block of Valecroft Avenue, and was arrested later that day at the sheriff's station.

A female, 19, was arrested and charged with shoplifting in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

A female, 23, allegedly stole $709 of merchandise and was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 2 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A wallet from a purse was stolen between 1 and 3 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 2900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Charged with providing false information to a police officer, a female, 42, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 20, was cited for petty theft at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 23, was cited for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision at 12:50 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 1200 block of Tierra Drive.

For possessing less than one ounce of marijuana, a male, 18, was cited at 9:45 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 600 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 34, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 27 in the first block of Conejo Boulevard. A female, 18, was arrested on the same charge at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 24 on Wilbur Road, north of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 52, was allegedly drinking Steel Reserve malt liquor in the parking lot of Pizza Hut at 75 S. Rancho Road around 4:30 p.m. Nov. 28. The subject was cited for drinking in public. Police dumped the final 8 ounces of alcohol from the 24-ounce can.

A business had its windows and adjacent trash container damaged by graffiti on Dec. 1 or 2 in the 600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The damage estimate was $50.

A business was vandalized ($1,000 in damage) between Nov. 26 and Dec. 1 in the 300 block of S. Moorpark Road.

A burglar broke into a locker at 24 Hour Fitness on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and stole clothes, keys and a cellphone between 8:30 and 9:20 a.m. Dec. 3.

Tools were stolen from a storage shed on Nov. 25 or 26 in the 1400 block of Plymouth Circle.

A burglary at a locked construction site was attempted between Nov. 26 and 28 in the 300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Two shoplifters attempted to steal merchandise from Albertsons on E. Avenida de Los Arboles between 1:55 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 25.

A home break-in was attempted between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Nov. 29 in the 400 block of Calle Jazmin.

Property was stolen on Nov. 29 or 30 in the 900 block of Calle Tulipan.

Property was damaged at two locations Nov. 28 or 29 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The total damage was $200.

Someone shot a dog with a BB gun on Nov. 24 or 25 in the 3200 block of Royal Oaks Drive.

A prowler was loitering on someone's property around 9:45 p.m. Nov. 24 in the 1800 block of Guilford Circle.

A window of a multipurpose room was broken atLos Cerritos Middle School between Nov. 26 and 30.

Gang graffiti was found on two windows on Dec. 2 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Gang graffiti caused property damage to four walls inside a toilet stall at La Paz Park on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1.

Graffiti was spray painted on a water tank between Nov. 24 and 26 in the 300 block of Fairview Road. Vandals had to cut a hole through a chain link fence to gain access to the area.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Dec. 1 or 2 in the 500 block of Lotus Avenue; on Dec. 2 or 3 in the 2100 block of Bennington Court (unlocked—items also stolen from garage); on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 in the 2100 block of Bennington Court (unlocked); on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 in the 900 block of Westcreek Lane(a GPS unit was stolen); on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 in the 3200 block of Hidden Creek Avenue (unlocked); and two vehicles between 1 and 6:20 a.m. Nov. 25 in the first block of Alamar Street.

Two vehicles were stolen between Nov. 26 and 28 in the 2600 block of Michael Drive. Burglar(s) also stole property from a home at that location.

A fire extinguisher was thrown through a car's rear window on Nov. 26 or 27 in the 1800 block of Dawn Meadow Court. The damage estimate was $350.

Westlake/T.O.

The inside of an elevator was vandalized ($2,500 in damage) on Dec. 3 or 4 in the 4100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Shoplifting occurred at a optometric business in the at 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 12:10 and 12:16 p.m. Nov. 18. The crime was recently reported.

For selling goods door-to-door without a permit, two males, 30 and 19, were cited at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 3 in the 1500 block of Covington Avenue.

A burglar dismantled an outdoor security camera, broke into the rear of Verizon Wireless at 121 S. Westlake Boulevard, pried open a locked cabinet and stole several phones on Nov. 26 or 27.
