Cake baking at Jewish academy

The Conejo Jewish Academy will host a workshop on "The Art of Cake Baking and Decorating" as part of the Ladies' Night Out series at 7:30 p.m. Mon., Dec. 15 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

Talia Broner will show simple techniques for creating cakes for all celebrations, from baking to icing to decorating.

Participants will receive recipes, ideas for theme cakes and a cake to decorate that they may take home.
