Wrestlers converge on NPHS

The Newbury Park High Wrestling Booster Club will host its 27th annual Wrestling Invitational on Saturday at NPHS.

This event serves as the program's biggest fundraiser of the year.

Twenty-three teams from throughout the state, including local squads from Westlake, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Chatsworth, will compete in the tournament, which is expected to run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

More than 400 athletes will be in attendance.
