Montana aims for a bounce-back performance

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers NORTHBOUND—Although Oaks Christian prevailed, 21-0, during last weekend's CIF-Southern Section Northwest Division quarterfinal game against Pioneer Valley, junior quarterback Nick Montana struggled while completing only 11-of-23 passes for 149 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. Montana and the high-powered OCHS offense will welcome the return of junior running back Malcolm Jones this week after Jones missed three games due to a shoulder injury. The Lions (12-0) play at Morro Bay (8-4) Friday at 7 p.m. in the semifinal round.
