Sheriff's Blotter The following subject was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol: A male, 23, at 2:40 a.m. Nov. 23 at Lynn and W. Kelly roads. A male, 35, allegedly battered his fiancee during an argument. He was arrested at 8:50 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Two males, 27 and 19, were arrested and charged with possessing burglary tools at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 21 at Rancho Dos Vientos and Via Bonita. A water meter was stolen between Oct. 20 and Nov. 20 in the 800 block of N. Tourmaline Street. Charged with violating terms of his parole, a male, 27, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. Nov. 21 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Sept. 9 or 10 in the 1000 block of Via Palermo. The crime was recently reported. Thousand Oaks The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 44, at 10:35 p.m. Nov. 20 at Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Road; a male, 27, at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 19 while driving eastbound on Hillcrest Drive, east of Hodencamp Road; a male, 59, at 6:19 p.m. Nov. 21 at Triunfo Canyon Road and Broomfirth Court; and a female, 22, at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 20 on the northbound 23 Freeway and Sunset Hills Boulevard. On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A female, 33, at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject allegedly possessed what was believed to be a controlled substance and a smoking device); a male, 24, at 10:05 a.m. Nov. 24 in the 2700 block of Calle Quebracho; and a male, 23, at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Los Feliz Drive and Conejo School Road. A male, 43, was arrested and charged with battery at 3 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 1300 block of Redsail Circle. Charged with battering his wife, a male, 48, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. Nov. 22 in the 2500 block of Rutland Place. During a Nov. 20 interview at the East Valley Sheriff's Station, a male, 32, admitted he committed battery; he was arrested. Charged with lying to police about his identity, a male, 21, was arrested at 2 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 200 block of S. Oakview Drive. For allegedly possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 22, was cited at 10:35 p.m. Nov. 21 at Houston Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between Nov. 10 and 19 in the 3100 block of Los Robles Road (unlocked); between 6:15 and 6:20 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 500 block of N. Moorpark Road (purse stolen from unlocked vehicle); between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 7:45 and 8:15 p.m. Nov. 21 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road; and on Nov. 22 or 23 in the 20 block of Los Padres Drive (window broken, digital music player stolen.) A car was vandalized with a sharp object between Nov. 19 and 21. The damage estimate was $1,500. Four car rims and tires were stolen from a driveway between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 400 block of Shenandoah Street. An exterior bathroom window screen was stolen Nov. 23 in the 100 block of Teasdale Avenue. About $3,750 was stolen from a storage parking lot in the 3000 block of Los Feliz Drive between Nov. 18 and 20. A purse was stolen between 10 and 10:15 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. Property from locked sheds was stolen between Nov. 21 and 24 in the 400 block of E. Rolling Oaks Drive. More than $400 in property was stolen Nov. 21 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. A portable generator was stolen from a garage between Nov. 21 and 23 in the 500 block of Citation Way. Property from an apartment complex gym was stolen on Nov. 22 or 23 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road. North Oaks Market and Liquor on Avenida de Los Arboles was the site of stolen property. It occurred between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. Nov. 22. Property from a patio was stolen Nov. 22 or 23 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road. A male, 24, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 23 in the 1700 block of Tiburon Court. A male, 52, was cited for drinking a 24-ounce can of Steel Reserve, an alcoholic beverage, in the parking lot of Pizza Hut at 75 S. Rancho Road at 8:35 p.m. Nov. 20. Police discovered two empty cans of Steel Reserve in a planter behind the subject. The officer dumped the man's almost full beverage into the planter. Westlake/T.O. A female, 40, was arrested on charged of being drunk in public and causing a disturbance at Jack's Deli on S. Westlake Boulevard at 3:20 p.m. Nov. 22. A gas station at in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard was vandalized ($1,200) between 9:25 and 9:30 p.m. Police RSS feed |
