October sales of Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 112 compared to 95 sold in September and 68 a year ago, according to Patti Hepple, president of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors.

The median sales price for single-family homes in October was $649,038; in October 2007, it was $777,778. The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half for less.

Total sales for all real estate transactions in October were $100.2 million; forOctober a year ago the total was $76.4 million.

New residential listings totaled 283 inOctober compared to 320 in the same month the previous year, and 269 in September 2008.
