Someone discharged a firearm at a vehicle, leaving 10 holes and causing $1,500 in damage. The crime occurred between 7 and 11:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 37, at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 18 on northbound Lynn Road north of Portofino Place; a male, 30, at 2:23 a.m. Nov. 17 at Theresa and Virginia drives; and a male, 37, at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 300 block of Havenside Avenue (subject rolled his car over and was sent to Los Robles Hospital.)
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 25, at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 4000 block of Barcelona Court (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 47, at 9:20 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road; a male, 22, at noon Nov. 13 in Motel 6 at 1516 Newbury Road (subject was allegedly in possession of stolen property); a female, 23, at the Motel 6 at 1516 Newbury Road at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 13; and a male, 35, at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.
A male, 21, possessed a substance believed to be narcotics (a baggie containing a white powder) and reportedly resisted arrest at 4:36 p.m. Nov. 13 in the 600 block of Avenida Del Platino.
Petty theft occurred on Nov. 3 in the 800 block of Lawrence Drive. The crime was recently reported.
Spray-painted gang graffiti resulted in property damage in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda between Nov. 14 and 17. The loss was estimated at $500.
Two meters and a backflow device were stolen Nov. 12 or 13 in the 3200 block of Old Conejo Road.
A shoplifting incident occurred at Long's drugstore on S. Reino Road on Nov. 14.
On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 49, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 4200 block of Via Encanto Court.
A male, 37, was arrested and charged with molesting a 14 or 15year-old child at East Valley Sheriff's Station on Nov. 17. The crime allegedly occurred around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 700 block of Brossard Street.
The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 21, at 3 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (subject drove a motorcycle and was injured in a traffic collision); and a male, 21, at 12:35 a.m. Nov. 15 in the 1000 block of Warwick Avenue (subject may have been under the influence of both alcohol and drugs; police discovered a plastic green pill bottle containing marijuana.)
On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 51, at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a female, 37, at Big Sky Drive and Big Sky Circle; a female, 47, at 2:15 p.m. Nov. 13 at Avenida de Los Arboles and La Paloma Circle (subject allegedly possessed a controlled substance and a device to ingest the drugs); and a male, 46, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Canna Street.
For allegedly striking his girlfriend with the back of his hand and grabbing her by the throat, a male, 28, was arrested and charged at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 300 block of Flittner Circle.
On a charge of stealing a pair of jeans from Urban Outfitters, a female, 22, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 19.
Two males, ages 18 and 19, were arrested on charges of vandalism and street terrorism at 10:56 p.m. Nov. 15 at Gainsborough Road and Sheffield Place.
A female, 20, was arrested and charged with vandalism at East Valley Sheriff's Station on Nov. 18 for a crime committed in the 1800 block of Marion Avenue.
A male, 24, allegedly impersonated a Southern California Edison employee and was soliciting without a license. The subject was arrested at 9 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 700 block of St. Charles Drive.
During a parole search, a male, 35, allegedly resisted taking a urine sample and was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 11 a.m. Nov. 18 in the 2900 block of Camino Del Zuro.
A female, 24, allegedly stole someone's Social Security number to rent an apartment (identity theft) in the 200 block of Hodencamp Road. The subject was arrested in Simi Valley on Nov. 19.
Charged with stealing a bicycle, a male, 50, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Nov. 17 in the 1000 block of Sheffield Drive.
A male, 25, was arrested and charged with tampering with several vehicles and resisting arrest at 6:10 a.m. Nov .16 at Wilbur Road and Laurie Lane.
Three females, either 18 or 19, were cited for being minors in possession of alcohol at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 800 block of Vinton Court. Police had responded to a call of a party in a vacant house.
For possessing a small amount of marijuana while driving, a male, 19, was cited at 11:10 p.m. Nov. 18 on Gainsborough Road, west of Moorpark Road.
A laptop computer was stolen between 6:35 and 6:40 p.m. Nov. 18 in the first block of N. Moorpark Road.
A home was burglarized between Nov. 1 and 11 in the 1600 block of Amarelle Street. Another home was burglarized on Nov. 15 or 16 in the 500 block of Laurie Lane.
A burglar broke into a gym locker and stole property at 24 Hour Fitness gym, 2595 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., between 2:55 and 4:02 p.m. Nov. 19.
More than $400 in property was stolen froma vehicledealership in the 3800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Nov. 13 or 14.
Mail was stolen between 3 and 8 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 1400 block of Calle Madreselva.
Aspen Elementary Schoolwas broken into and vandalized between Nov. 14 and 16. The loss exceeded $400.

A 5-inch cut was slashed in a convertible top on Nov. 13 or 14 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.
Four cars were keyed on Nov. 17 or 18 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. The total damage was estimated at $10,500.
Two vehicles were scratched with an unknown sharp object ($2,760 in damage each) between Oct. 4 and Nov. 14 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road.

Gainsborough Road (front passenger window smashed); on Nov. 9 in the 900 block of Calle Castano (unlocked); on Nov. 13 or 14 in the 800 block of Old Farm Road (unlocked); between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 14 in the 2500 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on Nov. 13 or 14 in the 800 block of E. Old Farm Road (electronic equipment stolen); and between 7:30 and 7:50 p.m. Nov. 16 at Waverly Park (window broken).
A male, 39, was cited for drinking in public behind a coin laundry in the 1000 block of Avenida de Los Arboles at 6:20 p.m. Nov. 15.
A male, 52, was drinking from a Taco Bell cup in the parking lot of the Pizza Hut at 75 S. Rancho Road around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15. When asked by police what he was actually drinking, the man said, "Oh, you got me. It's beer." The subject dumped the Steel Reserve into a planter. He was cited for drinking in public.
A male, 37, parked his car at The Promenade at Westlake shopping mall and exited the vehicle around 9:30 a.m. Nov. 14. When police told him to get back in the car, the subject fled on foot. He was captured and the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the vehicle was stolen.
