The Young Artists Ensemble and Conejo Theatre for Everyone will hold auditions for the musical "Disney's Mulan Jr." at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Audition times are 9:45 and 11:45 a.m., and 11:15 and 3:15 p.m. Sat., Dec. 6, and 11:45 a.m., and 1:15 and 2:45 p.m. Sun., Dec. 7.

Youths ages 10 to 19 may try out. The production will double cast several roles so that individuals with disabilities may participate along with nondisabled youths.

Auditions are by appointment only and will last about 1 hour 45 minutes. Auditioners should prepare one minute of a song and bring sheet music—no recorded music.

Auditions will consist of singing, cold reading from the script and some improvisation.

The show will be directed by Mark Andrew Reyes and is based on the 1998 Disney film "Mulan."
