Paraiso at Dos Vientos Ranch will host two Winter Wonderland holiday events at the ranch, 360 Via Las Brisas, Newbury Park.

Paraiso's second annual open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Dec. 6. The event will include horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, visits with Santa and his elves, carolers and a snow play area. The Sycamore Canyon Marching Band will escort Santa on a horsedrawn carriage at noon.

"Polar Express" Movie Night will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 13. Visitors may bring blankets to sit on to watch a screening of "The Polar Express" under the stars. The event will also include Polar Express train rides, face painting and holiday cookie decorating. Hot drinks and food will be available for purchase.
