Girls' softball accepts sign-ups

The Thousand Oaks Girls Softball Association (TOGSA) is accepting registration for its 2009 recreational season for girls ages 5 to 16.

Walk-up registration will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 and Sat., Dec. 6 and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sun., Nov. 23 and Sun., Dec. 7.

Online registration is at www.togsa.org.

Registration is $125 for girls ages 5 and 6, $185 for girls ages 7 to 16. Those who register before Mon., Dec. 1 will save $10. Multiple players from the same family will save $10.

Registration ends Wed., Dec. 31.

Evaluations will be held Sat., Jan. 10 and Sun., Jan. 11. Practices begin in late January. Opening day festivities will be held on Feb. 28, and the season will end in May.

Every player will receive a team jersey, playing shorts, softball socks, individual player photo, team photo package and yearbook.
