ALS support group to meet
      An ALS Caregiver Day will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 in the community room at the Westlake Village Library, 31200 Oak Crest Drive, Westlake Village. The event is for those who care for people with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease, as well as ALS patients, their families and friends.

Playing a game for better health
     HIGH HITTER—SoCal Pumas 16U third base player Demi Meza stretches up to glove the ball as a SoCal Sliderz 16U player creates a cloud of dust while sliding into second. The teams faced off during "Think Pink, Softball Friendly," hosted by the Pumas at Los Cerritos Middle School. Last Saturday's event raised money for the fight against breast cancer.

RV club wants new members
      The Happy Rovers RV Club, a Good Sam Chapter, is welcoming new members. Dinner meetings are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month at Carrows Restaurant, 301 E. Daily Drive in Camarillo. The next meeting will be Dec. 3.
