Church to host creche displays in Westlake

NO ROOM AT THE INN- St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church will display hundreds of nativity sets and manger scenes from private collections. It opens 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at the church hall, 5801 Kanan Road, on the northwest corner at Lindero Canyon Road. A donation of $25 in advance, $30 at the door, is requested for the gala grand opening, which includes appetizers, entertainment and a no-host bar. The display will continue ($5 for adults, $1 for children) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. and Sun., Dec. 6 and 7. Proceeds benefit homeless shelters in Ventura County.
