Church to host creche displays in Westlake
     NO ROOM AT THE INN- St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church will display hundreds of nativity sets and manger scenes from private collections. It opens 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at the church hall, 5801 Kanan Road, on the northwest corner at Lindero Canyon Road. A donation of $25 in advance, $30 at the door, is requested for the gala grand opening, which includes appetizers, entertainment and a no-host bar. The display will continue ($5 for adults, $1 for children) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. and Sun., Dec. 6 and 7. Proceeds benefit homeless shelters in Ventura County.

Therapy and religion can reduce holiday stress
      Jack Doman, licensed marriage and family therapist, will facilitate sessions for those suffering from stress due to financial issues, foreclosure or other factors.       Rabbi Moshe Bryski, executive director of Chabad of the Conejo, will deliver the keynote address at the International Conference of Shluchim, the largest single annual gathering of Jewish leadership in the world.       Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra, the First United Methodist Church Choir and artistic director KuanFen Liu will present a Messiah singalong at 4 p.m. Sun., Dec. 7 at the church, 1338 E.       The Thousand Oaks High School Lancer Band will perform at the grand reopening of Macy's from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Sat., Nov. 22 at Macy's in The Oaks mall, 222 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. There will be a community shopping day at Macy's following the performance.
