New shop will sell gently used designer clothing

Johanna Melamed, founder of The Closet resale boutique in Santa Barbara, has opened a second store at 3065 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Ste. 3, Thousand Oaks.

The shop is a contemporary designer fashion resale boutique that sells previously owned name-brand clothing, shoes and accessories at up to 60 percent off retail.

Brands include Paige Premium Denim, Free People, Chanel, Frankie B, LAMB, Marc Jacobs Rock & Republic and True Religion.

A VIP club membership is available for added discounts, wish lists and notification of new arrivals.

The Closet also buys and trades fashion items and accessories in clean, lightly worn condition from 1 to 6 p.m. every day.

The store's staff will provide personalized service for clients seeking specific labels and items.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
