There's been some confusion over what families will have priority in the school choice process for the 2009-10 school year. Two schools- University and Meadows- are closing their doors, and families who live within those enrollment boundaries will have top priority in choosing their next school.

Students who attend Manzanita Elementary, which is converting into a magnet school next year, will also have top priority in choosing a new school.
