The California Baptist University Choir and Orchestra will be in concert from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sun., Nov. 16 at Newbury Park First Christian Church, 801 Knollwood Drive, Newbury Park.

The group of 100 singers and 38 musicians will perform contemporary and traditional Christian music.

The concert is free, but donations will be accepted.

At 6:30 p.m., following the concert, Thanksgiving dinner will be served. The cost will be $5 per person, with a maximum of $20 per family. Reservations for the concert and/or dinner are not necessary.

California Baptist University in Riverside has more than 3,100 students. The University Choir and Orchestra are led by Dr. Gary Bonner, an internationally acclaimed conductor and trainer of conductors, and dean of the Shelby and Ferne Collingsworth School of Music.
