Ventura County Gilbert and Sullivan Repertoire Company will hold auditions for "The Pirates of Penzance" from 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 15 at Theatre on the Hill, Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Callbacks are 1 to 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22. Rehearsals begin Feb. 9 with performances March 20 through April 5.

Auditioners should bring sheet music in the proper key and be prepared to read and dance. All roles must do some choreography. All ethnicities are welcome.

Roles include Pirate King, 3040, baritone; Sergeant of Police, 2040, bass; Edith, 20, soprano; Kate, 20, alto; cabin boy/girl, 8-12, and daughters, pirates and police.
