T.O. woman wins award

FOR SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTIONS—Thousand Oaks resident and philanthropist Jolyn Mullin, left, is honored with the "Angel Award" by Star 98.7 disc jockey Lisa Foxx. Mullin was recognized during the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary's (JWCIA) recent annual membership luncheon and boutique at the Beverly Hills Hotel. For the past 25 years, the JWCIA has raised nearly $15 million for research, equipment and fellowships at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica.
