Ball honors Conejo Valley debutantes

The Conejo Valley Chapter of National Charity League Inc. wilhost the 27th annual NationaCharity League Ball on Sat., Nov29 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

This mother/daughter community service organization will formally present 14 debutantes who graduated from local high schools in June. The ball is a celebration of the girls' six years of philanthropic service.

The theme is "One Moment in Time."

National Charity League is a nonprofit, motherdaughter organization supporting local community agencies and charity organizations. The Conejo Valley Chapter assists more than 20 philanthropies in this area.

During the past six years, the young women have contributed thousands of hours to the community.

The debutantes are in their freshman year at colleges and universities across the United States.

•Meghann Mae Farrell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian J. Farrell of Thousand Oaks. Mount Holyoke College.

•Julia Elizabeth Kemp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Jeffrey Kemp of Thousand Oaks. University of Oregon.

•Courtney Alexis Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald David Lewis of Westlake Village. San Diego State University.

•Morgan Ainsley McLeod, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James William McLeod of Thousand Oaks. Duke University.

•Brooke Elizabeth Montgomery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Thomas Montgomery of Thousand Oaks. UC Berkeley.

•Katherine Leslie Nagle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elliott Nagle of Oak Park. Moorpark College.

•Piper Marie Nunez, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Michael Nunez of Oak Park. University of Notre Dame.
