IRIS SMOOT/Acorn Newspapers HIGH RIDER—As local families watch, BMX Pros trick team rider William Task of Chula Vista launches off a ramp to fly over the head of Janss Marketplace employee Danielle Caples during the inaugural Adventure Day on Saturday in the mall parking lot. The event included a rock climbing wall, video game trailer, BMX bike demonstrations, raffles and other kid-friendly activities.
