Hyatt Westlake Plaza to get a renovation

Hyatt Westlake Plaza in T.O. recently began a $1.2-million renovation of the hotel's meeting space, VIP suites, lobby and front desk. The renovation will be completed by January.

The renovation compliments the recent $4.5 million invested to completely revamp all of the 262 guest rooms and corridors, bathrooms, suites and the Grand Plaza Ballroom.

The entire lobby will be redone to include new tile, lighting, furniture and modern artwork, along with a new front desk design.

All four breakout rooms of the meeting space will feature stateoftheart audiovisual capabilities, new carpet, wall coverings and artwork, along with a new ceiling and lighting.
