Sheriff's Blotter A male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 6:45 a.m. Oct. 19 at Borchard Road and Los Vientos Drive. A male and a female, both 22, were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance around 2 p.m. Oct. 23 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios. The male allegedly possessed a substance believed to be methamphetamine. A female, 32, was arrested for allegedly committing assault with a deadly weapon at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the first block of Amgen Center Drive. On suspicion of threatening to commit a crime, a male, 32, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 21 at Hampshire Road and Triunfo Canyon Road. A male, 42, allegedly committed domestic battery at 11 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata. For allegedly inflicting injury to her spouse, a female, 48, was arrested at 4:15 a.m. Oct. 17 in the 200 block of Mesa Avenue. A male, 61, allegedly struck and injured a minor with a tool around 4:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 400 block of N. Reino Road. He was arrested at the East Valley Sheriff's station on Oct. 20. Charged with possessing three pills of a controlled substance and a plastic baggie of marijuana, a male, 23, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 21 at Wendy Drive and Old Conejo Road. For allegedly shoplifting more than $400 in goods from Kohl's at 1960 Newbury Road, a female, 32, was charged with grand theft at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20. A male, 21, allegedly possessed what was believed to be Psilocybin mushrooms (a controlled substance) and a small amount of marijuana, and he was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at Via Alista and Via Don Luis. A male, 40, apparently impaired by his medication and deemed unable to care for himself, was taken into custody at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 18 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road. For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a male, 19, was cited at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 3900 block of Santa Thomas Place. A male, 19, was cited for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision on Oct. 14 in the 600 block of Wilshire Place. For allegedly committing petty theft at Kohl's department store, a male, 22, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 20. A home was burglarized between 12:10 and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in the first block of Donald Drive. Property was stolen on the late night of Oct. 18 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road. A burglar broke into a locked, fenced-in area and stole more than $400 worth of auto parts between Oct. 17 and 20 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court. A bicycle was stolen between Oct. 14 and 19 in the first block of Ocatillo Avenue. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Oct. 19 or 20 in the 600 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard (window smashed, property stolen); on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 1800 block of Crystal View Circle; between 4:50 and 5:05 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 1700 block of Newbury Road (over $400 in damages); between 11:10 and 11:15 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 1000 block of Amberton Lane (attempted); and on Oct. 18 or 19 in the 2700 block of Borchard Road. Thousand Oaks A male, 50, allegedly committed several moving violations while driving, disregarded orders from police, resisted arrest, possessed an open container of alcohol in his vehicle and drove without a license while allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 2300 block of N. Moorpark Road. Ventura County Sheriff's Department detectives reported observing a male, 23, conducting illegal narcotics deals. When the subject was stopped for an inoperative brake light, they said, he broke free from an officer's control, causing a minor injury. The subject fought and injured a second officer before resisting a police dog. The subject had several packages of substances believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine for sale in his vehicle. He was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Oct. 15 in the 1400 block of Calle Pensamiento. On suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places indicated: A female, 39, at 10:25 p.m. Oct. 23 at the intersection of Olsen Road and Mountclef Drive; a male, 29, at 6:55 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 500 block of Moorpark Road (subject was allegedly involved in two hitandrun traffic collisions that caused injuries); a male, 25, at 2:30 a.m. Oct. 17 at Westlake Boulevard and Townsgate Road; a male, 20, at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 17 at Westlake Boulevard and Townsgate Road (subject also possessed two fake driver's license that showed him to be over 21 years old); a male, 27, at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 19 at Olsen Road and the 23 Freeway (subject possessed a controlled substance and was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance); and a male, 24, at 3:43 a.m. Oct. 19 at the Chevron gas station on Hampshire Road adjacent to the 101 Freeway. The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances: A female, 44, at 1 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 2400 block of Calle Narcisco; a female, 41, at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 18 in the first block of Marimar Street; a female, 19, at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 500 block of Juniper Court; a male, 48, at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 17 at Avenida de Las Flores and Calle Jazmin (subject possessed methamphetamine, handgun ammunition, tracer ammunition and a glass smoking device); and a female, 30, at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 2600 block of Calle Limonero. A male, 39, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 700 block of Brossard Drive and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of an injecting/ingestion device and being under the influence of a controlled substance. A male, 18, allegedly committed assault with a deadly weapon at 10 p.m. Oct. 10 at Southwest Liquor and Deli at 359 Avenida de Los Arboles. The subject was arrested Oct. 16 in Oxnard. For allegedly committing battery, a male, 42, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 18 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive. A male, 27, was arrested and charged with possessing a substance believed to be Psilocybin mushrooms at 1:45 a.m. Oct. 18 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Bouganvilla. On a charged of possessing Xanax pills without a prescription, a male, 28, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. Oct. 17 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road. For allegedly committing petty theft and possession of burglary tools, a male, 19, was arrested at 5 a.m. Oct. 19 at Hodencamp Road and Hillcrest Drive. A male whose age wasn't released was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale at 4:20 p.m. Oct. 14 in the 300 block of N. Moorpark Road. A male, 26, was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute but was arrested and charged with obstructing justice and resisting arrest at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 400 block of Gladstone Drive. On the way to the jail, the subject allegedly threatened to hurt an officer. A male, 37, was arrested at 2:11 p.m. Oct. 19 in the first block of E. Avenida de Las Flores and charged with threatening and intimidating someone. A male, 22, allegedly committed a burglary on Oct. 17 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. For allegedly committing battery on Oct. 5 in the 1200 block of Calle Olmo, a male, 27, was cited Oct. 14 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station. A male, 23, was arrested and charged with petty theft and concealing a weaponat 8:40 p.m. Oct. 20 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas. A thief stole a wheelchair from an open pickup truck on July 6 in the 90 block of Triunfo Canyon Road. The crime was recently reported. Someone entered a home without permission on Oct. 22 in the 1600 block of El Verano Drive. Shoplifters stole items from Ralphs supermarket at 1500 N. Moorpark Road around 6 p.m. Oct. 21. Someone threw an object at a man and injured him around 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at Janss Road and the northbound 23 Freeway off-ramp. For allegedly committing petty theft and possessing burglary tools, a male, 18, was arrested at 5 a.m. Oct. 19 at Hodencamp Road and E. Hillcrest Drive. A female, 23, was arrested and charged with burglary and creating false government documents in Glendale on Oct. 21. The crime allegedly occurred Aug. 15 in the 1600 block of N. Moorpark Road. Two females, ages 20 and 21, were cited for vandalism around 1 a.m. Oct. 24 at Mountclef Boulevard and Olsen Road. The 21-year-old subject was said to be observed vandalizing a political sign. Political signs were torn down between Oct. 16 and 21 in the first block of Mayflower Street. Political signs were stolen from First Baptist Church at 1250 Erbes Road on Oct. 16. In another incident, political signs were stolen on Oct. 17 in the 800 block of Vinton Court. Three political signs were stolen from someone's front yard on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 3100 block of Rollings Avenue. A burglar stole property from a dorm room at Cal Lutheran University on Oct. 20. A male, 23, was cited for being in a hit-and-run accident and for driving without a valid license at 12:4 p.m. Oct. 16 at the East Valley Sheriff's Station. For possessing a small amount of marijuana, a female, 20, was cited at 10 p.m. Oct. 16 at Erbes Road and Avenida de Los Arboles. The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: A male, 33, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at La Paz Park; a male, 41, at 2:35 p.m. Oct. 18 at La Paz Park; and a male, 39, at 2:40 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive. A burglar broke into Weathersfield Elementary School and stole about $300 in valuables. A petty theft occurred at Arby's restaurant at 1140 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Oct. 20 or 21. Shoplifters concealed merchandise in their clothes and left without paying for the items at Albertsons at 1736 E. Avenida de Los Arboles between 7:10 and 7:15 p.m. Oct. 18. A vandal caused more than $400 in property damage on Oct. 21 or 22 in the 4400 block of Sunnyhill Street. A vandal destroyed property— a loss of less than $400—between 8 and 9 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 3000 block of Morningside Drive. Gang-related graffiti in permanent paint caused damage to a brick wall in the 100 block of S. Oak View Drive on Oct. 22. The loss was $200. A burglar broke into a storage container and locked residential garage, but no property was stolen. However, more than $400 in property belonging to someone else was stolen on Oct. 21 or 22 in the 4400 block of Sunnyhill Street. Grand theft occurred on Oct. 5 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The crime was recently reported. Property was damaged ($100 in two cases) on Oct. 17 or 18 in the 1300 and 1500 blocks of Uppingham Drive. A similar crime occurred on Oct. 17 or 18 in the 2800 block of N. Marietta Circle. Property was stolen between Aug. 1 and Oct. 20 in the 1100 block of Landsburn Circle (more than $400). A similar crime occurred between 1 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Gymboree at 290 W. Hillcrest Drive. A tire was punctured on Oct. 20 or 21 in the first block of Quinta Vista Drive. Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: On Sept. 25 or 26 in the 200 block of N. Erbes Road (window smashed, property stolen); on Oct. 19 or 20 in the 200 block of Sequoia Court (unlocked); between 1 and 2 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (side window smashed, property stolen); between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard; between 2 and 2:25 p.m. Oct. 21 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between Oct. 10 and 13 in the 1100 block of Calle Castano; on Oct. 9 in the 3400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between Oct. 13 and 16 in the 800 block of Pleasant Dale Place; on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 1300 block of La Granada Drive; on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 1900 block of El Monte Drive (estimated damage of stolen and damaged property was $370); on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 1600 block of La Granada Drive ($150 in damages); and on Oct. 16 or 17 in the 500 block of Houston Drive (stolen property valued at $2,189).
