Workshop to help cancer victims and their families

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will present "Frankly Speaking about New Discoveries in Cancer" from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 30 at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Dr. Omid Shaye, M.D., will provide information on advanced and innovative treatments available for people living with cancer and information on emotional support and stress management.

The workshop will give those with cancer and their loved ones the opportunity to make informed decisions and improve their quality of life.
